Baseball Analysis and Research by Drew Geier
Hello. Thank you for visiting my blog!
My name is Drew Geier, I am working to earn a dual degree in Sport Management and Business Analytics at Ohio University. A few years back I was introduced to the book Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game by Michael Lewis and became quickly intrigued with the analytical side of baseball. In 2021, I took role as student manager coordinating video production and analytics for my high school baseball team at Archbishop Moeller in Cincinnati. This opportunity strengthened my love of the game and desire to work toward a career in the baseball industry.
Currently, I am a Student Manager for Ohio University baseball team. My responsibilities include assisting with practice and gameday operations to ensure everything runs smooth and efficiently, cultivating reports for the coaching staff, and serving as bullpen coach in season. For the summer of 2024, I will be interning with the Southern Ohio Copperheads as the Director of Player Operations.
